Didactic Usage of Invasive Species of Trees in Education at Lower Secondary Schools

The diploma thesis focuses on the problem with invasive species of trees in teaching at the 2nd grade of primary schools. The main goal of this work is the research of natural at the second level of elementary schools with an emphasis on invasive tree species. As another goal, the author set himself to find out, using a suitably prepared pretest, the entry level of knowledge before the actual teaching of this topic. After completing the course, verify the acquired knowledge and compare it with the initial knowledge using the same posttest. Another goal of the work is to acquaint students, through appropriately chosen teaching methods and forms, with the topic of invasive trees that grow near their place of living. The student will become familiar with the basic features, invasive behavior, mapping and subsequent disposal of the selected invasive tree species. In this work, the questioning method is used, where the students, through pretests and posttests, answer questions that reflect the information contained in some textbooks of biology for the 2nd grade of elementary schools. Invasive species - the general public survey

Invasive alien species are species that which is spreading rapidly, causing economic and economic damage, and generally have an effect on human health. Represent a major threat to global biodiversity, their presence has negative impacts on native plant and animal communities. The spread of invasive alien species is currently unintentional and is associated mainly with the development of transport and communication networks, and the development of global trade. Availability of information on invasive alien species is one of the most important factors in how it can be improved control the spread of invasive alien species in the Czech Republic. Providing information to the public in the Czech Republic is very weak. Anchoring the issue of invasive alien species in the Czech legislation is still very messy and inconvenient. The main aim of the thesis is to undertake a survey on the topic: Invasive species - a survey aimed at the general public. Sociological research is conducted using the snowball, which makes the sample has been collected about 100 samples. Collected data were statistically evaluated by chi-square test of goodness of fit. Of processed questionnaire can be generally stated that the respondents have a closer awareness of invasive alien species. Knowledge of the theme mainly differ in the different age categories and professions.
